Mr. Nasser Al Rizeqi Profile

Nasser, was recently appointed by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals as Director of Hydrogen Policies and Strategies Department , he holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Systems and Thermal processes from the UK Cranfield University, his work was in potential sites in Oman for Underground Hydrogen Storage. 

Prior to his appointment in the Ministry’s current role , he was part of a team in Ejaad, a hub for research and collaboration between industry and academia, that was tasked with formulating Oman’s National Hydrogen Strategy. Currently, he is doing his PhD Degree in Malaysia-Japan International Technology Institute ( MJIIT) in Chemical and Environmental Engineering , his works is concentrating on building Mathematical Model for Optimizing Hydrogen Supply chain in Oman.
