Kamal leads bp’s Hydrogen and Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) business in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.

Kamal joined bp in 2012 and held various roles across performance improvement, business development, and Merger & Acquisition (M&A), leading international projects and transactions across bp’s main businesses (upstream, downstream, renewables, and infrastructure). 

Prior to joining bp, Kamal held a number of technical and commercial roles with Total Energies and the Boston Consulting Group.  

Kamal holds a MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
