Cédric ROUX is the Technical Director of the Hydrogen Business Unit for TotalEnergies SE, one of the world’s largest broad energy companies. He coordinates technical activities within the Business Unit, related to the development of identified opportunities or the assessment of hydrogen prospects. He is also responsible in the Business Unit for TotalEnergies’ hydrogen technological roadmap definition and roll-out, along with identifying potential rupture and breakthrough technologies that could accelerate the development of a cheap and affordable hydrogen.

Cedric ROUX joined TotalEnergies in 2001, when it was once called TotalFinaElf. He spent 15 years working on project development in the Oil & Gas industry, mainly as a project manager, in several countries such as France, Gabon, Yemen, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates or Canada. From 2016, he joined the Audit and Internal Control team of TotalEnergies in Paris, as auditor and then as manager, giving him the opportunity to discover the full value chain of TotalEnergies. He has been Technical Director the Hydrogen Business Unit since June 2020.
