Ahmed Osman is the Regional Business Development Manager for Equinor
in the Middle East. He is responsible for Equinor’s commercial and
business development activities in the region.

Ahmed has 20 years of experience in the energy industry, and has worked
in Egypt, Qatar, USA and the UK. His previous roles included managing the
HSE and Regulatory Affairs team in Egypt and afterwards in Alaska. After
moving to Houston, he was a project manager for business development
projects in the US, Canada and Mexico. Before joining Equinor in 2008,
Ahmed was heading the HSE department for British Gas in Egypt. Ahmed’s
core expertise is in sustainability, strategy, portfolio analysis, commercial
and business development.

Ahmed holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Cairo University and
completed executive courses in Harvard and Oxford universities.
