Nizwa / Birkat Al Mawz, /Jebel Akhdar 

Visit the historic city of Nizwa. Immerse yourself in Oman’s rich culture and heritage. Explore the souq and discover its treasures of pottery, jewellery, handicraft, souvenirs and silversmiths working in small shops, sold in authentic old market halls that few places can boast.

Enjoy splendid views of this ancient town and the surrounding mountains as you walk around its fort that is an architectural testimony to the economic and military achievements of the early Yaruba dynasty from the mid-17th century.

Visit the enchanting village of  Birkat Al Mawz, before making your way to Jebel Akhdhar, a name translated into ‘Green Mountain,’ one of the top visited landmarks in Oman located approximately 170 km from Muscat. Explore its breathtaking terrains of green terraced gardens surrounded by charming villages, framed by stunning mountain views. We return back to Muscat by evening.
